・ほぼ毎年インフルエンザ等で高熱を出し、1週間ほど寝込みます。昼夜の境界が溶け出す高熱でうなされながら半醒半睡の数日の間に、いつも実家の壁紙を思い出します。子供の頃もやはり毎年のように高熱を出して寝込み、他に見るものもないので布団に寝転がりながら、目の前の壁のランダムな壁紙の模様？テクスチャー？シワ？を見続けていました。あまりに暇な少年時代の空想か、熱せん妄か、夢と現実が曖昧なまま、壁紙の不規則な凹凸はそれぞれに動き出し、熱を出した時はそれを漫然と眺める時間でもありました。 ・一昨年、バイトを始めた時期に換金され続ける自分の人生、時間を何か実感のあるものとして捉える方法を考えようとしていました。個展をひとつそれで作ってみましたが、いまだによくわかりません。世界のエントロピーが増大しているから時間は進みます。時間が進むから僕らは時給がもらえます。あらゆる仕事は社会を構成する、何らかの情報や物、エネルギーを秩序立てることだと思いますが、その間にも虚しく全てが無秩序へ向かうことで給金は発生し我々の懐を温めます。 ・情報の処理、あるいは忘却をすることでも熱は発生するそうです。「マクスウェルの悪魔」で調べてみてください（僕もあまりよく分かってません）。もう多くのことを忘れてしまいました。子供の頃のことも、本当はたくさんのことを忘れていて、今現在の僕が物語を編み直しています。バラバラな断片がそれぞれに動き出す幻視を再び見ようと、最近また壁紙を眺めています。 /////// 石毛健太 / Kenta Ishige アーティスト、エキシビジョンメーカー、他副業多数。参加するプロジェクトにUrban Research Group、SCAN THE WORLD、インストールメンツ、ニューセレモニーがある。1994年生まれ。2018年東京芸術大学大学院修了。 ・Almost every year, I come down with a high fever from the flu or something similar and end up bedridden for about a week.
